Harry was a successful hot dog salesman. Every day he would prepare for his customers by buying buns and hot dogs to feed his hungry customers. Harry was proud of the business he had built and was most proud of being able to send his son Aaron to college.
One day Aaron came home from college to visit his dad at the hot dog stand. He watched his dad in disbelief as his father was ordering more buns and more hot dogs. Aaron ran over to his dad and exclaimed, "Dad, don't you know there is a recession out there? You need to cut back and make sure that you have enough for a rainy day. Harry thought to himself, "Gee, my son went to college...he must know what he's talking about".
So, Harry started to cut back on the ordering of his buns and hot dogs. Soon, customers began to disappear because Harry did not have the enthusiasm for his business with the worry of a recession and was also ill-prepared for his hungry followers.
The following day, Harry saw Aaron on his way back to college and said, "Aaron, I'm so glad I listened to you...there really is a recession out there".
