Chiropractic Is?

The concepts and ideas about chiropractic practice differ greatly. So much so in fact, that if you visited ten different offices, you would see ten different policies, ten different signs, ten different teams and personalities, ten different types of tables, ten different techniques, and ten different ways to practice...or more!

Some use therapy, some do not. Some use instrumentation, some do not. Some talk about structure, some talk about function, some talk about both. Some use osseous techniques, some use touch techniques, some have open  adjusting, some have individual rooms, some use insurance, and some are stricly cash...Need I go on?

Please know that none of these are wrong! Each has a specific intention and therefore attracts the people,  places and things that align with that concept, idea and belief. If you stop to think about it for just one  moment, you'll be amazed at the diversity of practice and its procedures, and most importantly, the results!

Growing up in chiropractic, it was the straights vs. the mixers. The ACA vs. the ICA, the pain-based or the  predicament of the species, which was a new and different concept than from what I learned in school. The program was developed by Dr. Joe Felicia and Dr. Guy Riekeman.  It actually spoke about subluxation...whoa!

Today, it's apparent that chiropractic has taken an additional route.  There are pain-based practitioners,  principled or subluxation oriented practitioners, and now there are wellness practitioners. What's wrong with  any of this anyway? Each helps people in their own unique way. How else could it be?

Everyone has their opinion based on the past and their experiences, beliefs, schools, techniques, books you've  read and the people you've met.  Are you practicing the way you want, or the way someone else wants you to  practice, because, "Its THE RIGHT WAY!"

Chiropractors are some of the warmest, smartest, friendliest, most knowledgeable, talented, and hospitable people that I've ever met. All contribute to the healing process...all help their patients...some remove interference below atlas and some for the ones above! What does that mean to you?

Depends on who you ask!

Future Diary
In 1983, Mark Victor Hansen came to a Markson Management Services seminar and handed everyone a book with nothing in it. He called it Future Diary.

He then proceeded to tell us to write down everything we wanted as if it were already true...hence future diary.

I remember writing 5 things down that I really wanted, never thinking or believing that any of them would come true. All five did!
